#16 Why I'm Switching the PodCentral Podcast
It's time for something different. Community comes first!
The interview format of podcasting is dead for me. I’m kind of tired of it. I want to have more fun with my show. Here are some new ways I’m planning on produicng episodes for the PodCentral podcast.
My goal is to help 1,000 podcasters make $1,000 from their show this year. If you want to join teh journey, you can get access to the PodCentral community free.
Live Podcast Audits
I’ve done over 500 podast audits since 2016. My review process for shows is extensive. That’s why so many podcasters love it.
This type of content is great for a show. Instead of boring interviews, I can easily help more podcasters. Doing live audits also helps my listeners. My audience is full of podcast hosts that want to grow and monetize their show. I have to cater to them.
How are you attracting new listeners? I believe every show needs their signature episode. This episode style has to be something people can’t hear anywhere else.
Roundtable Wars
Engagement is a huge part of podcasting. I think every show should make it a goal to interact with their listeners. Make sure the listeners feel like they’re part of the show.
My plan is to bring podcasters on PodCentral to speak their peace about different trends in the industry. This will be open to editors and agency owners as well. Open discussions are healthy for every industry. This is how markets constantly grow.
How are you engaging your listeners? Try to create a podcast episode style that’s all about your audience. Think about ways you can keep listeners excited to hear the show and get their feedback on topics of conversation.
How-to Episodes
This is where I educate. I’ll always take the time to teach my audience. It’s been my favorite part about podcasting. I believe that teaching your audience builds a different kind of trust and realiability. At a certain point, there will be people reaching out to you asking questions instead of using Google. That’s why education is very important!
How could you educate your audience in a unique way? Education is a vital part of the podcasting process. If you can teach your audience something valuable, you’ll build trust a lot faster.
All of these episodes are going live beginning next week! Make sure you subscribe to PodCentral wherever you listen to podcasts!
